We are excited to let everyone know about the merger taking place between Malloy Incorporated and Edwards Brothers Inc., both located in Ann Arbor.

The new company will be named Edwards Brothers Malloy and feature 14 locations in the United States as well as in the United Kingdom.

It is expected that the merger will be finalized next week.

This is a positive move forward for both companies and presents an even better opportunity for customers to take advantage of a more complete service offering.

Both Malloy and Edwards Brothers are highly respected in the book printing industry and the new company will be even stronger than either has been by itself.

Each one brings unique pieces to the table that will allow the organization as a whole to grow and expand as one.

The two businesses have both been family owned for a long time.  Edwards Brothers Inc. has been privately owned by the Edwards family for more than a century and Malloy a family owned operation since 1960.

Both companies have proud traditions as family owned operations with dedicated and experienced employees striving to be the best.

Better Service for All

With the combination of the companies, Edwards Brothers Malloy will be able to offer a more complete package capable of meeting more of our customers needs.

Edwards Brothers Malloy will operate the largest Digital Print Center network in North America with locations in Victoria, British Columbia, Plymouth in the United Kingdom, as well as locations in California, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Aurora and Chicago Illinois, North Carolina Michigan and New Jersey.

Edwards Brothers Malloy now will maintain facilities on Jackson Road and State Street in Ann Arbor in addition to locations in North Carolina.

Along with increased print capabilities, customers of both organizations will have access to services that had not been available before.

For example, Malloy has a highly efficient fulfillment operation and online quoting system that will be available to all customers that had been working with Edwards Brothers Inc.  Customers that only did business with Malloy will now enjoy services like EB’s Life of Title®, and Digital print services.

We are only in the first days of working through the merger and there is still much work to be done.  You can contact your Edwards Brothers Malloy Representative with any questions.

The important thing to remember is that this will be a gradual change over the next many months.  As a customer, you will continue to receive the same service from the organization you were dealing with before the merger was announced.

As always, we welcome your input.  What do you think about the merger?  What questions do you have?
