Giving Back

Did you know that Edwards Brothers Malloy employees are active community volunteers? Edwards Brothers Malloy has had strong ties to the community dating back more than a century. We are proud to support local charitable organizations in their efforts to make our community a better place for all of us. Many of our employees serve on local boards and actively give back to the community. Edwards Brothers Malloy donates book printing and binding services to local events and non-profit organizations as well as employee time to charitable events such as the United Way Day of Caring. Below is a list of organizations that we are proud to be involved with.

American Red Cross Edwards Brothers Malloy employees support the American Red Cross by hosting 2-3 on-site blood donation drives that benefit local hospitals.


Edwards Brothers Malloy supports Washtenaw Literacy in providing free literacy instruction to adults in our community. English as a second language courses were also provided by employee volunteers on-site to new employees at our facilities.


united way For the past 15 years, Edwards Brothers Malloy has supported the United Way by sending employees out during paid work hours to various sites throughout Washtenaw County to do work. This program is known as a “day of caring”.


The Ann Arbor YMCA Edwards Brothers Malloy donates funds to the local Ann Arbor YMCA and members of our staff sit on the board.


March Of Dimes Edwards Brothers Malloy provides a company contribution to the March of Dimes Campaign in April and pays for some of the signage during the walk fundraising events.


Nature Conservancy A ten dollar donation is split between the Plant a Billion Trees program operated by The Nature Conservancy and the Legacy Land Conservancy in Southeast Michigan whenever an FSC or SFI logo is used for the first time in a book we print.


Ann Arbor Community Foundation Edwards Brothers Malloy donates press time to the Ann Arbor Community Foundation for their quarterly news letter.


Ann Arbor Graphic Arts Foundation Both Edwards Brothers and Malloy were founding members of the Ann Arbor Graphic Arts Memorial Foundation. The foundation provides scholarship opportunities to children of employees.


WCC Foundation Edwards Brothers Malloy employees chaired the board of the WCC Foundation and the company also helps sponsor the organization’s Mardigras fundraising event.


Cleary University John Edwards serves on the board of Cleary University. Founded in 1883, the University is committed to teaching the American free market economic system, ethical business practices, and leadership skills via a rigorous program of undergraduate and graduate education programs in business.


Family Learning Institute The Family Learning Institute is a nonprofit agency dedicated to closing the achievement gap among disadvantaged children in Washtenaw County, Michigan, by working with local schools, community partners, children, and their parents in supporting a commitment to success in school and beyond.
